Job Responsibilities:

  • Candidate are expected to be able to undertake classroom teaching according to the school’s agreed policies and guidelines- with a focus on learning through play by adapting; Montessori, Thematic and National Syllabus, as well as work in partnership with parents to ensure best outcome for the children in their care.

  • Responsible for the caring and educating children between the ages of 3 months to 6 years depending on the group being assigned, unless if informed by superior otherwise.

  • To ensure a high standard of care and affection for children in the group.

  • Observe, assess and record children learning experience through student management system

  • Encourage empathy in children and to show affection and respect for others, in order to build a caring environment in the school.

  • Upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and decoration of the learning environment.

  • Motivating and stimulating children’s learning abilities and encouraging learning through experience.

  • Ensuring the health and safety of children and staff is maintained at all time during all activities.

  • Establish communication with parents, business and community to attract perspective clients.

  • End to end childcare and other ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

  • To keep records of the health, progress, accidents, injuries sustained by the children.

  • To maintain the cleanliness, attractiveness and safety of the physical environment, equipment, and materials.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must have 2 – 3 years working experience with children (3 months to 6 years old)

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in education/Early childhood or equivalent will be valued

  • Preferably with certification on Montessori

  • Creative and has passion in working with children

  • Possess excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia

  • Spoken and written Mandarin and any other language will be an advantage

  • Able to work well independently as well as within a team

  • Hardworking, responsible and positive attitude

  • Preferably candidates with knowledge and experience in related field.

  • Fresh graduates in early childhood Education (or Equivalent) are encouraged to apply
